I am on Citalopram, just got myself off of clonaepam (on it for about 12 years!), and now take Trazadone - 25mg before bed. I have always had night terrors, even when on the clonazepam, but they are really SEVERE now... I had the worst I ever this week - or at least I think so - I never could remember them before, but remember these! Does anybody know for sure the exact dosage for an adult female of St. John's wort for night terrors/depression? Thank you!
For an adult taking St John's Wort for depression would take 300mg 3x a day, then after feeling better some people choose to only take 300-600mg a day.
I must warn you though that you shouldn't take it until you have talked to your healthcare provider, because you are on antidepressants and you should not mix the two without first discussing it with your provider.
You may want to do a google search about night terrors and St John's Wort as some people claim it gave them more and worse night terrors.
Best of luck.
