Should donnatal be given to a patient with arrithmia, or irregular heartbeat?

It can be used, but cautiously.

what would you think if he had just had a echocardiogram and it showed mitral regurgatation, and ejection less than 20%, then they give him donnatal , lidocaine, and antacid coctail and leave him alone in his room with pain scale at 9 and nurse that can't get a response from them when his blood pressure drops to 82/52. two hours later he codes... ?
