I've tried creams and ointments and they work for a while but then the itching comes back. Yesterday, in desperation, I grabbed my dog's anti-itch spray and it felt so good. The itching stopped for several hours, then I used it again. Directions for dog say use every 12 hours, but I'm using every 6 and finally having relief. Should I be concerned about anything?
Call the vet, and call your doctor and ask your question.
I'm sure they will give you a good answer and probably recommend something "like" the dog's spray to quell your itching. There is an over the counter moisturizing cream with anti-itch properties - it's called
CeVa and it comes in cream and lotion. I use the cream. It helps. Hope you try it. Also, do you know what
your itching/rash is from???
Aveeno also puts out a nice cream - it's "New" and comes in a tube or jar.
Good luck to you. Trish
