... now. Can I or should I start it back up again? The RX was made to be taken for 3 weeks and we are only half way through it. It was prescribed for her skin. Thanks!
I would agree with Kaismama and call her vet and ask their advice. But in the future, PLEASE don't forget to give your dog her medicine! Our pets are as inportant as our family members and should be treated the same as if they were our children because they are as helpless as our children are. They can't tell you that they hurt, they can't tell you that they need their medicine. I am not trying to be mean or anything, but I just had my little dachshund go through bladder surgery and she developed a staph infection on her skin and if I would have forgotten to give her her medicine for this infection, it could have developed into a very serious infection that could have killed her! So please... in the future, be more careful about giving your pet her medicine.
