I am starting phentramine today Feb 19 i am at 270 want to lose 80 lbs by november getting started is so hard need motivation
This drug may give you the motivation you need, but do not expect long term effects from it. The effects of this drug are short term so usually 2-3 months and then you may not see benefit any longer.Diet and exercise in conjunction with the medication is still your best bet. This could be the motivation that you are looking for though.
This may help for short term only... As far as Not doing exercise, I would strongly recommend you add some in, even if its for 10mins per day to start out with. Adding the exercise, will make you feel better, giving you more energy and the Drive to succeed as you begin to see results. Also adding exercise is far better for your body than any diet aide alone.
If I may say, ALI is a fantastic weight loss aid. It breaks down the fat that are in foods, and releases them from the body. BUT it also teaches you to eat the correct way by not eating too much fat, because if you do, it will release from your body in an oily form.
I know this sounds gross.. but its really not that terrible and as indicated this is what teaches you to eat correctly and when doing so of consumed meals with less than 15g of fat you will not have what are called " treatment effects"
You also take this diet aid with a daily multi vitamin. No matter what you decide, exercise even at its smallest form is the best you can do for your body. Even if you go food shopping, park 10 spaces from where you would normally park. If you are disabled in any fashion, you can also do small thing on your couch that will help lead to a better body and success. You can wave your arms in circles. Doing 10-15 reps 3x per set maybe a few times a day if you can.
Also doing some leg lifts and holding for 5-10 seconds count of 10 per set a few times per day. If you are able pick up 2..2lb weights and use those. When you are cooking, while standing at your stove you can also do leg lifts holding on to your stove.. Another option if you are in kitchen, sit in your chair and raise both legs. this will help with your abdominal muscles.. doing this a few times per day, at 5-10 lifts per set you will start to feel the difference.
Even doing these small exercises will help to build you up for increased movement and extended exercise. Remember to start off slow, Give your self small goals and stick to them. You will feel better about yourself, and your achievements in no time. oh yes, if you are able, take small walks even if its up the road to begin with, you will be surprised how quickly you will gain strength and those walks become longer.
