I am 37 years old male with low testosterone. I tried Andrgel and didn't help much and doctor is advicing for injection. We are also trying for baby and I am worried if this injection will harm my chances of having a baby. Did anyone tried injection and was able to conceive? Please advice
I was diagnosed with Primary Hypogonadism at age 20. I had zero natural testosterone production and I never went through puberty until I started testosterone therapy. I was also told that I would never father children. However, at age 30, on a whim my endocrinologist switched me from T-therapy to HCG therapy 2cc/2 x's a week. Two years later my wife and I were pregnant and my daughter just celebrated her 6th birthday. I like the way I feel on HCG better than T-therapy too. There are no highs and lows on HCG like I notice on T. HCG works for both my testosterone production and was solely the reason why I could make sperm -- zero sperm count to enough to conceive.
