Currently I am on adderall. It has changed me for the worse. It is way too easy to abuse. The energy is nice but the lack of interest in a lot of things including being around my significant other ! Will the Strattera help but without the negatives that Adderall gives ?
This question has also been asked and answered here: Strattera vs Adderall: What is the difference?
Strattera is a prescription medication that is used for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It was the first nonstimulant approved to treat ADHD.
However, please also seek medical advice from the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the change of med. take care, we well & safe!
I think it depends on the person I have a teen relative who was on this it takes time in order to be able to see and as Rajive told you you need to be talking with the doctor, with my relative it did help her focus and didn't seem to make her as hyper as some of the other medications, I wish you the very best
Hi rawboots! I am a female late 50's, diagnosed as an adult with ADD. It was a diagnosis unknown during my youth. I obviously found ways to compensate as I was a high achiever academically and professionally successful.
I can't speak to its use for children/adolescents but it has made an amazing difference in my adult life. I am much more focused. Case in point-I only lose my keys once per week now, instead of daily. Ha Ha! I've never experienced any negative side effects with Straterra and I'm grateful for it.
