I have a drug test on the 7th for felony probation, I have been addicted to oc for about 6 months now. Lost control of the drug and am trying to quit by taking seboxin but just buying it off a friend. My drug tests only test for methadone, methmatabilyte, opiates (general), thc, pcp, barbituates, etc. but not seboxin. Can anyone help me out with this information???
Suboxone contains a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone. Buprenorphine is an opioid medication. Buprenorphine is similar to other opioids such as morphine, codeine, and heroin however, it produces less euphoric ("high") effects and therefore may be easier to stop taking
In any test I have taken, it only shows as bupenorphine and usually they don't check for that. I have had the quickie type in the office and the mail off invasive test and that is all it shows up as. I know that they are constantly updating things but I think you are fine. Make sure you get an rx for it in the future and you will not have to worry about it again.
