My mom has been taking primidone 14 days and does not take naps anymore and is not sleepy. Sometimes she has to take a sleeping pill at night now.
Sleepnessness is not a known side effect of Primidone, however it may be possible that it is the cause. Just let her doctor know.

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); decreased sexual ability; double vision or unusual eye movements; fever; mood or mental changes; unusual tiredness or weakness.
