Klonopin may help with this, but it's certainly not indicated for it. I feel like Xanax caused more night terror/nightmares than anything for me, and my sleep has been great with clonazepam at night. It may benefit you for this issue, but if that's your only symptom I would talk to your doctor about what's best for this specific issue.
