i recently got arrested for a duii for klonopin not alcohal, the cops said i was impaired and i could not pass the heel to toe sobriety test not sure if from the klonopin or because my hips are out of alignment -(one of my legs is a little longer than the other) also they said my puplis were dilated again not sure if from the klonopin or because i wear contacts -(i left them in for 4 days not supposed to and my eyes were irritated from that). my case goes to court in a few weeks and i don't know if this charge is valid. i'm afraid to drive again because i'm still on my klonopin and if i do get charged can the same thing happen again? does anyone know any information that can help me in my case?
Klonopin may impair your thinking or reactions. You need to be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert.
I'm not sure if they can charge you or not. If you have a doctors prescription for Klonopin I would think you would be fine.
