which states use a computer database to monitor multiple narcotic prescriptions? I live in Florida and I know that such a program is in the works, I am just wondering about the status of that new law. What I really want to know is "If I go to tampa Pain mngt & get a script for pain meds and then 2 weeks later, I go to another pain mngt. doc 100 miles away and get a script. What are the chances That I could get away with it just one time? The thing is; The doctor that I want to be my doctor is on vacation until mid-april. And I can't wait that long to get meds, so I am planning on going to my friends PM doctor on Monday.I would only do this the one time, but I am afraid it could blow up in my face. What do ya'll think??
