i clench my jaw when i am stressed and took xanax for it but my doctor switched me to flexeril. i didn't like it when i tried it, but i am clenching my teeth and jaw again. is it worth taking?
Nope for crying out loud slap the doctor what an a hole. Flexaril is nasty and I would not even leave the doctor's office or waste my money on that crap. See if he will try soma on you that is pretty awesome and their are alot of muscle's in your jaw and soma is a muscle relaxant and it sounds like it's a muscle problem. Hope this helped you.
I told someone this info. already, but here it is again. I clench from all psych drugs. You can buy something at CVS to put in your mouth to avoid clenching. Or, you can spend a fortune and have your dentist make you one. Re: the other answer. Soma is very sedating at first and you have to get used to it. Also, it occasionally made my knees buckle for no reason. Actually, pretty funny. I do not know if it would help with teeth clenching, but it is generic now and won't be expensive to try. I was using for back issues.
