The best thing for this would be to continually wash this area with anti bacterial soap, maybe use a little hydrogen peroxide and keep an eye on it, trying to use left over antibiotics that have not been specifically prescribed for this problem is not good, due to the amount you would need anyway... Also need to know if the cat has had his or her shots... Just keep it clean and free of debris and dirt and you should be alright, also, neosporin would be o.k. as well depending on how bad it is...
