I wake up every morning in so much pain I cannot get out of bed. It sounds like you are experiencing the same. I can only tell you of one trick I came up with that might help your situation. I set my morning alarm for 45 - 60 minutes before I really want to wake up. When my alarm goes off, I reach over and take a pain med, sometimes two and have a small bite of something I had already set out (for this purpose) and then go back to sleep. When my second alarm goes off the pain med has done its magic and I can get out of bed. I hope this helps! This little trick has allowed me to get my kids up in the morning and off to school without a hitch. Then I can go lie back down and rest once they are gone. The only other thing I might add is that your pain medicine might no longer be strong enough and you need to up it, or you may have Myofascial Trigger Points in addition to the Fibromyalgia that need to be worked on to relieve some of your more severe pain. They can cause severe migraines and all other kinds of havoc. There are books at the library about it and some home treatment tricks with tennis balls, raquet balls and little bouncy balls. I work out knots and stretch all day long. You have to kind of "beat them out." I hope this helps!
