Just wondering about the pros and cons of 2x/day.
Does anyone split the dosage am and pm to get a more steadly level or is there a reason not to?

I'm thinking of trying the same thing, to tell the truth. If I could apply every other day, I could stretch it out for a longer period of time before the subsidy runs out.
Don't alter your application level without speaking to your doctor. It may or may not be a good idea in your case.
I am thinking the normal dosage is once a day, and leave it on the skin as long as possible to maximize absorption... but instructions say you could wash it off in as little as two hours, and not affect the delivered dosage.
So, I'm not sure what applying half doses would benefit you. It's the residual blood stream level that you're shooting for.
Nimak, do you have some need to regulate the level better? What are you experiencing?
I am using the Gel packets so I cannot do that, but I suspect that if the dosage does not stay at a constant level they would ahve already adjusted the prescription to twice a day with smaller doses.

I understand androgel can be applied to the shoulders or stomach. Is one area better than the other?
