bottom line, i havent taken any, because i dont know what it will do. ANY and ALL replys would be greatly appreciated. The fact is, this is suposedly a temporary condition, so should i try to deal with the intence pain, or try this stuff at my own risk???
Doctor probably prescribed a pain med, which is fine. There are possible side effects such as drowsiness, constipation, dizziness, etc... Nothing too horrible compared to your current pain level. No driving after you take it though.
He may have prescribed an anti-inflammatory med, which is also fine. Either way you will have to take it easy for a little while!
You could just take ibuprofen up to 600 mg (3 x 200 mg) with food. (NSAID) Make sure you eat with that or you could have a belly ache. Check also if you are on other meds for drug interactions. Should be okay. Don't take this with the prescribed med, which could also be ibuprofen.
