... beads out of the capsule. Ive managed to reduce my dose on the standard ones to 37.5 but im still in a zombie like state! im wondering if i went back on to the xr ones but reduced my dosage that way might be a bit better?
I too have tried the bead counting method .I do not have the knowledge to answer your xr question. But i did learn from a compund pharmacist that it may be effective for some people.( swit ching to xr orr counting beads when no other viable alternative is available ) The problem he stated was that each bead is not equal ? Truth or ? . I believe him and secured his services to create any dosage of effexor i wish. Thus my ability to reduce sssllooowly . Yes. It was elusive to find this wise kind man. But i am going with the compound ($ more money .yes. but better than being shaky and trying to count microscopic beads. ).i am regretful to hear of your zombie state ..i know what that is. I can only offer kind words that it will get better.as others have reassured me . I have proof in one friend who returned to a state of so called normallacy . After he got off effexor via the compound method and of course support vitamins etc.
I am sharing the compound concept to you for I wish i knew about compounding along time ago. Ex .random ex. 37.5 to even 34. Until u are ready to reduce again . I am only trying to assist and encourage you.truly ! ( im not a health professional . Just a person who gained some wisdom along the way ).
. Oh heres the kicker ... when i told my psychiatrist about my eureka moment of discovering the compound pharmacist . He said " yes i know ! His name is ... " HE knew all along and insisted the lowest dose was 37.5 and that was that !!! even though . HE knew all along of this compound pharmacist??? .
I guess i went on a rant ..but the positive is . Simplify your life and find a compund pharmacist .i hope this helps . Best of luck. Peace
