I am jus courious if I will be able to find another doctor?
If you taper off the suboxone slowly and properly, you really won't need a ton of Xanax. I know people always put horror stories out there about getting off subs, it can be done without all the horror. If you are trying to get off it fast, Robert_325 has a quick taper. I have a slow taper that worked for me listed in my profile story and the other things I did that helped me get off withdrawal free. You can click my avatar and read it if you want. I just want you to know it may not be nearly as bad as you have heard. Don't let those horror stories get to you. Usually when people do have a really rough time getting off of it, they came off too fast, or jumped at too high a dose. I know alot of doctors don't make a big effort to get people off, and sometimes don't know how, but there are people on this site who have gotten off and are fine.
Mine gives me Klonopin with my Suboxone. Just a low dose, .5 mg's 2 times a day, which I usually just take one at bedtime to help me sleep, or as needed. I have social anxiety disorder so if I will be going somewhere where there may be a lot of people I will take one. Since I don't go out much, that doesn't happen very often I also get 10 mg of Ambien (that I haven't taken) to help me sleep at night.
