Please someone who also has scar tissue how does the doctor know. He also advised me not to have surgery to remove scar tissue. If you have surgery the scar tissue will come back and the pain will be twice as bad. Please if anyone can answer my question, please try to help me. Please tell me how a doctor knows that you have scar tissue. Thanking you in advance, Miss Sassy Trish.
By scar tissue, in this context, must mean you are speaking of Adhesions and they are a real problem with any abdominal surgery. If you have them removed you really are heading into unhappy land. There is light at the end of the tunnel however. A number of products are now available that work on a percentage of all people treated with it/them. Palpation and an abdominal ultrasound will show a doctor where they are. Removal is not a great plan; a friend of mine insisted on it and ended losing almost all his large intestine.
