Everyone else I know that takes it, takes it during the day. Is there a difference? If I take it during the day will it make me sleepy or give me energy?

Since topimax stays in your system for 24 hours it doesn't matter if you take it in the morning or at night. But topimax is known to cause drowsiness and sedation so most people take it at night. You may wanna try taking it in the am one day and see how it effects you but it really is up to your personal preference. Hope this helped :)
Nikki; I don't see any problems with taking all of these at bedtime lots of times the doctor might be trying to make it easier for you to comply with and make sure you take all your medications but all this well do is make you sleep better I would not suggest you alter what the doctor has said with the Topimax you should take it at the same time each day. like in your case at bedtime. and keep it there with this medication it is not good to try one in the morning just to see what happens you want to keep it where the doctor says to keep a good and steady blood level. Most do take at night unless they have more than one dose a day to avoid the drowsiness. Best of luck Chuck1957
