I have anxiety disorder and my doctor still, after years of trying, has not found a combination or single medication to treat my anxiety. The last pill he gave me caused great changes in my mood and increased my depression to the point of being in tears. This side effect of the new medication my doctor is telling me is not a side effect (even though it is listed on the side effects of the medication) and that I should increase the medication!!! What? I am just looking for a feasible treatment for anxiety so I can get back to my life again. Any suggestions, homeopathic or otherwise?
Maybe it's time to find a new doctor if you aren't satisfied with your current doctor? If it's taken years and you've not found anything than perhaps you do need to hunt for a new doc.
I agree, we do need a list of what you've tried that didn't work, it will help us to answer your query.
There is something you have not mentioned. Without therapy you will not stop the anxiety. It tends to increase over time. The way to get your life back is to do the work to find out what is holding you back. Pills stabilize us, they do not cure us. It takes trial and error to find one you respond better when using. I suggest you go back to the doctor and make a plan. You won't regret it.

I just found out that there is a high risk of interaction with one of my medications and the Celexa?
