... it's working fine for me I sleep much better?
I have been on Seroquel for over a decade, and have taken 800mgs. before under Dr.´s instructions.
I will not judge you but I definitely agree with the other member, NEVER self-medicate.
This antipsychotic is one of the strongest one, if not the strongest, it is not a sleeping pill, it is used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, you are on the highest therapeutical dose, and you are playing with fire, increasing the dose of any medication is done gradually in order for the Dr. to observe how the medication is working and avoid potential side effects, having said that, somnolence is a side effect of this medication, yes off label this medication can help with sleeping disorders, but we are talking of taking 50mg. at bedtime, not 800mg.
Inform your Dr. and I strongly advice, for your health, that you go back to the 400mg dose prescribed to you.
An overdose can be fatal.
