After discussion with my doctor he advised me I could cut my 10mg dose in half and take 5mg at night between 6 and 8pm. I'm about to take it in an hour or two and I want to make sure I'm going to be doing the right thing. I'm obviously worried about side effects but i dont want to worry if it's going to help me. I used to suffer very mildly from an anxiety attack here and there, nothing major, recently they have become full-blown and some days are worse than others. I'm looking for positive feedback about this medication. Will I sleep tonight & wake up at a reasonable time tomorrow? I start counseling to discuss my sudden onset of my symptoms. Please don't post anything negative to freak me out. I'm looking to get better sooner rather than later. Will this medication help me in the long run?? Also, can I take my Ativan as needed if I absolutely need to. Thanks in advance.
Hello, ask your Dr for Pristiq as i have been on it for about 3yrs+
and it did work as i did not know that i had the same condition as you!.
also put me on Mitripazine to calm me at night
I have been on lexapro from mid- February. Also started on a small dose of 5 mg then increased to 10. The overall effect of this drug was quite positive with me and I regret that I have not started it earlier. I became more calm, concentration and productivity improved. But it took about 2-3 months to feel these positive developments. There were obvious side effects at the beginning including insomnia but I moved drug intake into mornings and that helped. At the beginning also had issues with orgasms, but then I took a long pause and need to find out soon if that side effect also faded.
In one word this drug worked for me and I hope that soon I would be able to live my life without it but with the same confidence.
