First 2 week
No, as far as I can tell that is unusual but If you could indulge me and read the product information (I did for you) for professionals: https://www.drugs.com/pro/benzoyl-peroxide-cleanser.html and after that the information for consumers (there is a link to consumer information there too). Pay attention to the site preparation and application as that is quite specific.
Also, you could go to the pharmacy and talk with the pharmacist what form did you get the cream, and you just put a small amount on the affected area but there is an over the counter wash or scrub to clean your face or where you are breaking out and it cleans out the pores then pat your face with a clean towel don't rub the towel.just pat it dry from the wash and then apply the cream. The only reason you would break out more is you could have had clogged pores under the skin and you were going to break out anyway. But if it is red and irritated more call your doctor and let them know it is only getting worse. feel free after you read steves post to do that and re-post any questions we might be able to help you with.
