My doctor had added amantadine 100mg to my effexor225 mg. has anybody tried amantadine???

Not a typical medication for depression. Amantadine is an antiviral and antiparkinsonism medication. As an antiparkinsonism medication is may affect dopamine in the brain which maybe why the doctor is trying it.

that what he was telling me. the dopamine is the key thing that he kept saying b/c when i looked it up im like this isn't an antidepressant/ssri but we will see how it works out. just gotta find the right cocktail free discount card
