I have never had high BP. The Blood test Doc did came back with numbers?? 146 should be 160 ?? or 160 should be 146?? Doc said the off label use of ace inhibitor Lisinopril will help my Kidney function.
Do you happen to know what test you had that determined those numbers? And just as a matter of mention, why are you thinking that your kidney function is contributing to high blood pressure? I am not getting the correlation here unless you can provide more detailed information. I'm not meaning to pry or get personal... just not following the diagnostic trail.
I can tell you that if you don't understand a treatment plan or a diagnosis, then ask the doctor to explore it further with you. I know a lot of people get intimidated or flustrated when at the doctor's. You can take someone with you, perhaps or take a tape recorder to help you remember. I have done that and none of my doctors have a problem with that.
If you don't mind elaborating... we might be able to help you through this.
