I am seeing a new doctor and left the last recently for a very good reason. I would like to know if my new doctor would have a record of doctors, treatment, etc before I even see him. I would rather he not know of this doc. I don't have insurance (for a trail).
Hello barrett. Insurance companies yes, but doctors no, not necessarily. I've lived throught out the country and its always been me taking whatever information I have, or rather want to give to the new doctor. I answer the questionare, but I offer only the infomation that I deem relevant. Sounds snotty perhaps but the new doctor will have to go about his/her own diagnosis, and thier thoughts and course of treament. I am paying for a service, and in my point of view, I prefer that the new doctor to beable to treat me through his/her expertise. Unless its a life physical, life threatening situation, I see no need to have to have to go through your case history. Best wishes to you barrett,
