A friend is going to the Dr. tomorrow, she thinks her Dr. is going to ask for a drug screen. She is supposed to be taking valium and oxycodone. She has also had an opana lately. Will the Dr. be able to tell the difference?

Oxycodone can last upto 7 days while the valium can last upto 10 days normally though has been known to last much longer as it is stored in fat cells.
Yes a good blood serum test requested by YOUR doctor that prescibes the drugs should be looking for and isolate/ID the drugs you have in your system. In other words, yes the specific drug, (not brand of course) can be isolated. This is to insure that the meds your doctor gives you are not being abused or sold/given to someone else. A good doctor will make you bring your meds to appointments and randomly test you. This protects both you and the doctor. Just good business.
