Clomid stimulates the release of hormones necessary for ovulation to occur. It is mainly used for treating female infertility
I don't think there is a use for it in OCD. Perhaps there is a mix-up with the insurance company~ the drug "clomipramine" is sometimes prescribed for OCD patients, perhaps that's what they're thinking of? I would contact your prescriber or pharmacy or insurance company, and make sure they have the right drug in mind. Sounds like a mix-up to me.
