Degenerative joint disease shot in back and hip. Pain always comes back. I can't walk very long in other words I don't have much of a life.several ruptured disc in lumbar and cervical.I wonder if surgery would help. I also had total knee replacement. My life is full of pain.so tired
If you need a hip replacement is worth it. The surgery itself is getting better all the time. In my years of taking care of people with replacements, they all will tell you that the knee replacement is far more painful then the hip. Spinal surgery has nothing guaranteed. You've got about a 50-50 chance of having it ease the pain. No matter what you do you need a good pain management dr.
