Is it used in conjunction with sertraline or trazadone?
Hi, Kelly! Sertraline and trazodone are antidepressants, but Depakote (divalproex sodium) is actually an anticonvulsant which can also act as a mood stabilizer for some people.
It's frequently prescribed together with antidepressants for Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar depression.
Best Wishes, WCV
