I was fostering a puppy and when she went to be spayed it was found that she had an enlarged heart. She was put on disal and sent back to me. During the time she was being spayed I chose to adopt her, she had been with us a month and everything was going well. Within the last week she has become aggressive towards both of my other dogs. One of my dogs is 14 and is unable to fight back and she is going to get hurt. The only things that changed is she was spayed and she was put on disal. I would like to resolve this issue so that I can keep her, if I can't resolve this she will need to go to a home where they do not have other dogs.
Maybe she's ticked she was spayed lol t. I know what you mean. My old dog is 15 my younger one is very good with him. I don't know what I'd do if he got aggressive. Disal is lasix. The biggest problem is electrolyte imbalance. That can cause restlessness. What about the anesthesia for the spaying?
