I'm more than eight months pregnant. I was just given dilaudid for pain. Should I be taking this?
If your doctor just prescribed it to you and knows how far along you are in your pregnancy, etc., you can call his/her office and ask how close to your due date you should stop taking it, and even if that's the case for you--direct answers from your prescribing physician is most likely your best bet. If that's not your OB, then my next step would be to call my Ob/Gyn and get her advice. Best of luck!
