I am reading a book called open focus by less fehmi and he has mentioned another author Jack Dreyfus who has said that Dilantin is good for depression. If this drug is good for depression what doze is best to take.
I can't see any way it would help with depression. I've never heard of it being used as such either. There are pills we know work for depression. I wouldn't want to deal with Dilantin over a good antidepressant.
Actually although it was a anti seizure medication from 1930, it HAS and rarely is used for mood disorders such as Depression and anxiety. My aunt was given it in the 50's and did wonders for her. Hardly anybody uses it or finding a Doctor to write it isn't easy either.
Beware of he said she said it works for, etc. What your Dr prescribes for you is what has the best chance of working for you. Matters not what anyone else says about what may or may not work for them, because they're not you.
