I know that there is 2 different "kinds" of home pregnancy test, a digital & a non-digital. Which brands are the most accurate? Which brands are more known & easy to get access to? (As in, which brands can be found on most store shelves?) Are their age limits on any?
I don't think the accuracy goes by digital or non digital. it goes by levels I believe it ranges from 10 to 30. the levels measure the hcg levels in a pregnant woman. I believe 10 is the most accurate! I'm pretty sure you can find most high name brands in many stores aside from the store made generic brands, which usually work just as well as the name brand ones, but are cheaper. I'm pretty sure there isn't an age limit on them. I bought them for friends when I was like 14. but I would go look at brands then I would research the levels on them brands and go from there, that's if you don't trust the store brands. but basically any test can be false. say you are pregnant and you take say 4 different tests but they all show negative so you go get an ultrasound and find out you are. that's because your hcg levels aren't high enough for the tests to detect them. so I suggest if you think you may be pregnant wait til your cycle is about to start and test, and if that comes back negative wait about a week if you still don't start test again. and if that is neg. as well go to an obgyn.
