Klor con is potassium chloride. It is a prescription med and the dr can control exactly how much potassium he wants you to get. This is very important since the normals for potassium are very small in range. Potassium in your body that isnt' normal level can do major damage to your body. Potassium aspartate is a nutritional supp and as such isn't monitored as closely for how much is in it. You can't be sure what you're getting.
