leonard; THE 50MG is the regular tramadol to be taken as doctor prescribes and
the 100mg ER IS a extended release that last longer and keeps a better blood level so in many cases you don't have to take as much because it stays in your system. also not to exceed the dose.
Hi, just to follow on from Chuck's reply, the 50mg (hydrochloride) is an immediate release and it is usual to take a dose every 4 hours throughout the day. The 'ER' is extended release and is taken just once a day, eliminating over 24 hours
