I have a prescription for 60mg of sudafed. Is OTC the same as the prescription?
The difference is the OTC Sudafed is 30mg pseudoephedrine per pill and the prescription strength is 60mg per pill. That is the only difference. This is comparing the Sudafed that you have to ask for at the pharmacy counter and show your ID to purchase (at least here in the States) The ones on the shelves, Sudafed PE are made with phenylephrine rather than pseudoephedrine.
