The doctors are changing my husband medicine from 20 mg OxyContin time release to MS Contin 30mg. I wondered what the difference was?
Oxycontin is time-released oxycodone (brand name Percocet) and MS Contin is time-released morphine. They're pretty close - I've been on both in the past. His new MS Contin should help him a bit better. As someone in horrific pain, I wish him good luck.
