Oxycodone is stronger then hydrocodone.

The mg dosage is considered when comparing the two drugs as well as the prime ingredient "litter" so oxycodone has a little higher dosage and a better punch then hydrocodone, both are narcotic so they will work!

Oxy is the narcotic part in percocet. Hydrocodone is basically Vicodin. Oxy can be a better for some. My body does Better with pain then Vicodin, but my mom does better with Vicodin because percocets make her tummy very upset. Both work on different areas of the body.
