What is the difference between halcion. and alprazolam?

Interesting question they are both benzodiazepines..or derivates of them... both are short acting... alprazolam is used for panic attacks and anxiety... it is compared and contrasted mainly with clonazepam/Klonipin,lorazepam/Ativan and diazepam/Valium
triazolam being a short acting sleep aid can cause memory loss in the morning it I s compared/ contrasted with Dalmane a long acting sleep aid,,and Restoril.temazepam... a intermediate acting sleep aid... Xanax is still a popular med Halcion/triazolam has generally been replaced by Restoril I believe Halcion is banned in the United Kingdom free discount card
