What is the difference between bactrim and bactrim ds?

The ds stands for double strength, that should explain the differences. lolol... I'm not sure they make bactrim (the brand name) anymore.

Thank you! I am having a diverticulitis flare up and have Bactrim on hand, but notBactrim ds. I assume then could take twice as much-but just got Cipro and Flagyll from my doctor. Those always have worked in the past. Thanks again! free discount card
