How does one affect you compared to the other? Are they prescribed according to the diagnoses, if so why, and what are some of the diagnoses/symtoms for which each would be prescribed?
You want a book not an answer, lolol..Antidepressants treat depression by acting on the serotonin level for the most part. There are a few that work differently. Anti psychotics are for psychosis. The symptoms for them can vary widely, which is why a psychiatrist has to decide carefully. Depression is shown slightly differently in each person, but tiredness, anger, sadness, feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, restlessness are all symptoms of it.
