I am taking Paxil daily, sometimes it's a little pink pill and sometimes a little blue pill, same dosage though, depending on the supplier. I just wondered if anyone knows the differance between plain Paxil and Paxil CR.
Hi Farrah. "CR" meams continuous release. Picture a microscopic hole drilled in the shell of the pill & the Rx oozes out continuously; purpose is to keep the Rx in your body/blood stream at an even level vs wide swings. My thinking is that if the doc wrote the script for CR then the pharma has to provide it. I suggest - no, encourge you to ask your doc.
