What is the diference between bupropion hcl 75 mg and sr 150 mg,besides the dose amount?

"SR" means sustained relase, which means it releases the medication slowly (you could say it is controlled release), the other one is immediate release,

Hi Gyminis.
CR, SR, XR are all designations for Rx that is a slow (continuous/sustained) release. This means you are not to break one on these in half. The pill in engineered to have the Rx ooze out of the casing in a predetermined rate. The advantage to this is the medicine has nearly at even level in the body.
