I was just recently upped on my dosage of oxycodone from 5mg IR to 10mg but I went to 2 different pharmacy's and they said that they don't have them in stock and the other pharmacy said they discontinued them.Does anybody know the real facts that go along with this?It would be nice to have a little piece of mind.

My dwellings are Texas and here they are available everywhere even tha ones that aren't coated you know the breakable kind yea we still have em.
So so far maybe they are telling the truth and the one that said they stop carrying them maybe they meant they were out of stock. I don't know I would call around so you don't waste the gas cause here in tx we are paying near 4.00 a gallon it's horrible no one can get anywhere it's very sad. Hopefully one of us will get a break :) have a great day.

Quite often with these kind of drugs the pharmacy doesn't keep a large supply on hand. I take four 7.5 mg of oxycodone a day. That ends up being 120 a month. When I first got my prescription my pharmacy of choice didn't have enough to fill the script. They called around to find a pharmacy that could fill it. Then they said they would order enough for the next time so I wouldn't have to call around or drive to a pharmacy far away. It has been a few months since the oxycodone was first prescribed and they always have enough. I would suggest calling around to see who can fill it this time. If you go to someplace like Walgreens they should be able to make the calls for you. Then ask them to order more so you don't have to go through all this again. Good Luck
