I was just changed from Percocet 10/325 MG to Oxycodone 15 MG by my doctor because I have been taking them for some time and they no longer were taking away all my pain. I looked up the 15 MG Oxycodone pill that my pharmacist gave me which had a M in a square on one side and was scored with a 15 on the other side and was white in color and round. It did not bring up 15 Mg Oxycodone as being one of the possible drugs. I then looked it up under Oxycodone Hydrochloride and found one exactly like it except it was Green. It was made by Mallinkrodt and had the M in a square with a 15 on the other side which was scored. I don't know if I should contact my pharmacist about this or not? Could you please help me decide?
If you place your pill on a white piece of paper you should see that your pill is in fact a very light green.
I will copy the info provided by Mallinckrodt to the FDA which backs this up, and which is the same as on this website.
Each Oxycodone Hydrochloride Tablet USP 15 mg is available as a light green round convex tablet with a boxed M on one side and “15” above a bisect on the other.
Hope that is of help to you.
My dr has me taking oxycodone hcl an today my pharmacy filled mine with oxycodone hyd instead of the hcl which isnt time realeased. The oxycodone hcl is time realeased an is green in color kind of light green. They're both 15mg, only difference is hcl is time realeased which may take little longer for it start working the
hyd starts working quickly so its light green with a v on one side with the numbers 4811 on the other side. I hope this is helpful to you an anyone else that may have a question on this. Also there's a App called ITriage and its got lots of information on it you can get it from the playstore online. It's been very helpful for me an i believe it would for others to. I hope this helps i tried posting picture of them both but couldn't
