I started using Celexa about six month's ago at about 5mgs and when I went up to 20mg, my life improved by 100%. I was so much calmer and all the irritibality just melted away. I never even realized I was depressed until I took Celexa. I was so much happier! I felt like I had my life back. After a few months, the benefits started wearing off, so I upped the dose to 30 then 40 mg. Nothing changed. I was so disappointed. My psychiatrist was surprised as he said the effects don't usually wear off for most people. Any advice?
