Does diclophenac contain aspirin?

When you have the generic name for the drug, that tells you what is in it, diclophenac. It does not contain aspirin or anything else. They are both NSAIDS but that's the only relationship.

No, diclophenac doesn't contain aspirin. However, it is not advised for people allergic to aspirin.

They are in the same 'family'. Diclofenac does not contain Aspirin, but if you are sensitive/allergic to Aspirin, you are advised not to take Diclofenac either. If this isn't the case and you are wondering if you can take these 2 medication together, no, you should not.
